Playing sports brings fun and exercise to anyone. It leads to improved community relations, better health, and longevity. However, nowadays, outdoor games with friends and neighbours have been replaced by more popular but sedentary pastimes, such as video games, watching television, and surfing the web.
Sports helps improve camaraderie, leadership and teamwork. Hence, it is more important to start playing sports at a young age. Children who play sports learn the rules naturally; self-management skills, team awareness and collaboration skills develop far faster than others.
